~The 52 Project: a portrait of each of my children every week in 2015~

Amaleah//  This week I marveled at how tall you are getting and how much you are actually looking like a Middle Schooler. I know I get all sappy about it, but thanks for humoring me and letting me snuggle you and get in all sorts of hugs and kisses on your still very kissable cheeks. And also, women’s shoes sizes? How can this be?

Julia//  The 3rd grade Invention Convention was this past week, and you embraced it with such enthusiasm. You and Daddy spent hours slaving over your creation, and you had such a sweet and diligent attitude the whole entire time. I love how eagerly you approach your school projects, and how hard you work to finish them. And this invention totally rocked it!

Landis//  You are nearing the end of the preschool years, which makes me a little sad. But with this growing up comes your desire to do more interesting projects and crafts. This week you’ve played with an array of items in a bucket of water, coming up with new purposes for all sorts of things, and you’ve made several well designed bead necklaces and pasta necklaces for me and your gramma. You have a very distinct creative style that I can only imagine you get from your creative dad. Days with you are just so much fun!
